Oregon Conservation Network
Welcome to the Oregon Conservation Network!
The Oregon Conservation Network (OCN) unites conservation groups around the state in an effort to protect Oregon's environmental heritage in the Oregon Legislature. The OCN is a project of the Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund.
Since its inception in 1995, OCN has grown to include 100 member groups with a combined membership of more than 100,000 working to counter legislative threats to Oregon's environmental legacy and livability.
We work to link not only environmental groups, but those dedicated to public health, historic preservation, outdoor recreation, commercial fishing and more.
We all have a common goal: to protect Oregon's quality of life.
For the 2005 Oregon Legislative Session, the Oregon Conservation Network supports a Common Environmental Agenda. The agenda reflects OCN's view of the seven most important environmental priorities for the Legislature in 2005.
The Oregon Conservation Network's Primary Goals:
- Inform conservationists about environmental issues and policies being considered by the Oregon Legislature.
- Increase the grassroots advocacy skills of conservationists and conservation organizations.
- Improve cooperation and information sharing among OCN member groups.
