Date:
February 12

For years, the Oregon Conservation Network (OCN) has been advocating for

designation of Oregon’s first system of marine reserves. Hailed as the next logical step to Oregon's landmark 1967 Beach Bill, marine reserves would safeguard some of the most ecologically important areas in Oregon's ocean.Marine reserves OLCV
Last week, SB 1510 moved out of the Senate Environment and Natural Resources Committee on a bipartisan 5-0 vote.

Yesterday afternoon, marine reserves legislation passed out of the Senate 25-5. It will now move to the House. Make sure your voice is heard when it's time for the critical House vote! Take the Pledge to Act and add your name to the list of those who have already pledged to take one OCN advocacy action between now and the end of the legislative session. You'll be the first to know when your legislator needs to hear from you on marine reserves and OCN's other priorities.
