Stay engaged! Help pass laws to protect the environment
Legislative work happens year-round, whether the Legislature is in session or not.
During Oregon’s 2010 Legislative Special Session in February, the Oregon Conservation Network passed two of its three Priorities for a Healthy Oregon. Read more about what happened duing the last session.
You might not be thinking about the next session, but we are.
That’s right, the next session. Although the Oregon Legislature does not meet again until early 2011, we have a lot of work to do in the interim to get ready for it. Over the next few months, OCN will be developing priorities for the 2011 session.
We are also recruiting new members to the coalition, which already includes more than 40 coalition members who work on a diverse set of issues like water conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy development, forest protection, toxics, and wildlife habitat.
