2007 Environmental Lobby Day

Environmental Lobby Day 2007
April 3rd, 2007
Salem, Oregon
One Day Can Make a Big Difference
Do
you want to recycle the more than 20,000 tons of electronic waste that end up
in Oregon
landfills every year? Do you support moving towards renewable energy and
decreasing our dependence on foreign oil? Do you want to close loopholes that allow toxic materials to be dumped in
Oregon’s water supply?
Do you want to be part of shaping a cleaner future for Oregon?
Renewable energy, toxic waste, and environmental safeguards
are at the top of the agenda this year for the Oregon Legislature. This is a landmark year for environmental legislation with many important bills being voted upon. If you want to ensure
that the Legislature votes to protect us, come to Environmental Lobby Day.
Environmental Lobby day is a fun, interactive day, designed to provide you with detailed information on the key bills that are currently facing the legislature, in-depth training on the most effective ways to influence decision-making, and direct experience lobbying your legislators in Salem!
Please join 250 of your fellow Oregonians at our Capitol for
